Whole Cities Foundation builds collaborative partnerships with community organizations that are poised to make significant impact in their neighborhoods. The Foundation also helps to improve individual and overall community health and wellness in the U.S.
Community Giving – Whole Food’s team members are part of the local community and they are passionate about supporting the local causes that are important to shoppers and neighbors. Each store donates food to area food banks and shelters. And several times a year, stores hold community giving days (otherwise known as “5% Days”) where five percent of that day’s net sales are donated to a local nonprofit or educational organization.
